Croatian Getaway * part 1

My husband and I were so abundantly blessed recently. A dear friend volunteered to watch ALL FOUR of my children for FOUR DAYS so that we could go on a trip without the kids. There is this one place that I saw on Pinterest called Plitvice Lakes in Croatia that I was dying to see. I had pretty much written it off as a no-go, though, because it’s miles and miles of boardwalks and stairs over waterfalls and lakes with no railings. There’s no way we could have taken our kids. So when this opportunity presented itself, Croatia was the place to go.

We hopped another RyanAir flight, and we landed on a little island right off the coast, near Rijeka.
